  1. Lyndasays:

    Hi Marco,
I have a “bug”. When I save to my Windows calendar it says it is the correct time but when I mouse-over the date in the calendar it has made the time zone UTC (??) and therefore makes my reminders all an hour late. Can you help me, please ?
    Many Thanks,
    Lynda~

  2. Lyndasays:

Wow, that was fast work. All brilliant now, Marco. thankyou very much-no more manual amending for me ! Great site,
    Love Lynda XX

  3. Marksays:

    Hi,

The search function does not find Horizon! It works for everything else I have tried.

    Mark

  4. Davidsays:

Hi Zingzing, GREAT site – even better now with channel re-arranging possibilites! Just an idea for down the line: would it be possible to create some sort of alert. For example, the site could automatically generate an e-mail to warn a viewer that a particular show/film … is coming up within the next seven days.
    Thanks anyhow, Dave

  5. Lancesays:

Love the site and have a shortcut on my favourites toolbar so I can easily check what’s on.

It would be really helpful if on the matrix it showed which programmes are in HD as not all are. With the impending arrivla of Ch5 HD and the just announced launch of BBC1 HD in the autumn this will become even more important.

  6. Rogersays:

    Hi,
I’ve just upgraded to IE9 64 bit. When moving the mouse over a program in the guide, the pop up no longer appears. Also when clicking on the program nothing happens. Had the same problem with IE8 64 bit but 32 bit was OK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Roger

  7. Josssays:

I’ve been using ZingZing for about a year and I have to say it’s excellent. One small enhancement that I would welcome would be the ability to default to Full screen…?

A few new channels have appeared on Freesat recently, such are Men and Movies (not to be confused with Movies4Men!) and Vintage TV. Do you have any plans to add new channels? Thank you for this excellent program.

  8. pixelpidgeonsays:

Hi. Recently i can no longer use zingzing tv.com. No listings populate, cannot gain access to options creen. I am using internet explorer 8. I believe this started to happen after i temporarily installed chrome. Any ideas?

Brilliant TV Lisi=tings site by the way.

  9. Yummysays:

Zing is great. I’ve been using it ages now but as Joss says, we need all the freeview channels!!
Also when we tune out of freeview, we need the best of those please too.
To pixelpidgeon, Internet explorer is a non-standards complient browser (poss. prob). It is also the slowest of the pop. browsers and full of bugs, Please believe me I’m a programmer. Firefox is good or Opera, but safari and google chrome are the fastest. Happy surfing!

  10. B Roddasays:

Superb website, I just love it. What’s it written in – Flash?

  11. O'Prezsays:

Marco…this site is fantastic! Many thanx for including the Irish channels too. Have you any plans to include 3e in the channel line-up? It’s an Irish terrestrial channel and also on the Irish Sky EPG. That’d make this site perfect!

  12. exsays:

It was great, then you changed the look so now it’s all grey and bland and program types have to be carefully looked for instead of standing out. Big step backwards.
And it doesn’t work in Opera anymore.

  13. Jay Greenfieldsays:

Why isn’t there an East Anglia region in the pulldown list? I live near Cambridge and Have to select London Essex for the closest listing?

  14. Can see that the new colour scheme looks smarter, but I hate it (shame, because this is such a good site).

With different background colours to each program made this site really easy to spot programs, the uniform colour scheme has spoilt this effect, making it harder to see ‘at a glance’ what’s on.

PLEASE, either change it back, or better still, give the user the option to change this – i.e. ‘original theme mode’ in the options page.

This shouldn’t be too difficult, I’m a web developer and appreciate how good this site is.

It’s still the best tv listings site on the net, but it would be great if you did this, otherwise
I’ll have to use firefox greasemonkey to do this myself !

  15. Ian Dsays:

What was the best listings site on the net has become possibly the worst, I beg you to change it back or aswas suggested, give an option to switch between the original and this bland impossible to see and distinguish assault on the eyes.
    Love your work till today

  16. Everybody!!!! Please calm down…

I am adding a button (this evening) that will allow you to change it back to the original colours :)

    Regards,
    Marco from Zingzing

  17. glynsays:

    Style button.

    Brilliant !
    Perfect !

  18. Chris in Tauntonsays:

PLEASE – if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it!
It was great – when you hovered over a program then the details showed bedside it.
Now everything is down at the bottom – and you can’t get rid of it.
ALSO – and most importantly – I can’t see which channel each program is on. It’s alright showing the Horror Channel (for example) but what number is it on my TV??
Bring back the old style, please.

    • Stevesays:

I like that I can now scroll the full screen display with my mouse scroll wheel. Don’t like the new smaller fonts, though – impossible to see from TV viewing distance.
Also, in my part of the world, Sky 3 ceased to exist on Freeview months ago. Nowadays it’s Pick and Pick+1 – time to catch up?

  19. twoshedssays:

Marco – ch4hd is now available on freesat.

  20. Nicksays:

    Cannot find the following: –

    Print Friendly Version (PDF)
Zingzing has the ability to generate a printer friendly PDF TV listings, perfect for planning your evenings viewing away from the computer. To access this feature, scroll to the bottom of the homepage where you will find options to generate your listings. Select the date you would like to export followed by the channels of your choice. You will need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print your listings.

  21. Richardsays:

    Hi
Great site but since the recent changes pressing “home” never gets the correct (current) time any more. Would appreciate a fix! Thanks

  22. Chris in Tauntonsays:

Hi Marco – my missus is seeing adverts for the True Entertainment channel.
It seems to be on FreeSat 142…..but I can’t find it on your options page.
    Have I gone blind or….?

  23. Chris in Tauntonsays:

Hi Marco – you on holiday?
No comments or replies from you since 21 July………..!

    • Chris,

Sorry I did not respond to your comment sooner! Unfortunately there are a few channels not in the database but I am slowly but surely adding these when I get spare time to work on the site.

      Regards,
      Marco

  24. Chris in Tauntonsays:

    Hi Marco,
Ah – so pleased to hear from you!
I’ll always forgive the odd error or admission but I was just worried that your excellent site had died of lack of interest or something!
Glad to hear that it’s just a matter of time and motion….
Keep up the good work – wish I could help but I too could do with there being 30 hours in every day.
    Cheers

  25. Chris in Tauntonsays:

    Hi Marco,
Tonight our TV tells us that channels 302 and 303 (True Movies) are “scrambled or unavailable.”
I’ve a feeling that this is a Humax issue (rather than FreeSat) – and hopefully it’s got nothing to do with our TV itself.
Do you happen to know anything about it?
    Regards,
    Chris
    PS
I see there are some changes to the FreeSat selection as of today…..as follows:
    1 deleted – 400 Wedding TV
    13 changed – 142 True Entertainmnent, 302 True Movies 1, 303 True Movies 2, 500 Chart Show TV, 501 The Vault, 502 Flava, 503 Scuzz, 516 NME TV, 517 Bliss, 603 Pop, 604 Pop Girl, 605 Tiny Pop, 606 Kix! frequency change (to 11307 V 27500 2/3)
But what is meant by the word ‘changes’?

  26. Helgasays:

I can’t see any tv listings between 8am and 4pm today, I can only see, er, tyre tracks!

  27. Helgasays:

Hurrah! Thank you Marco – wow at speedy response :)

  28. Rogersays:

    Hi Marco,

When looking at movie info the link to IMDB no longer works for me, any ideas why?

    regards,
    Roger

    • Roger,

The functionality of this hasn’t changed so it may be a setting on your side. Do you have a pop-up blocker on your browser?

      Regards,
      Marco from Zingzing

  29. nookynsays:

I like this site! I’m a refugee from the so-called ‘beta’ version of the new Radiotimes website which has been inflicted on us with little regard for the ‘ain’t broke so don’t fix it’ adage.

  30. mozhisays:

    hi
would u please show you can do it program again
i was exercising everyday by that
    many tanks

  31. sharon sutherlandsays:

  32. Chris in Tauntonsays:

    Hi Marco,
    I can’t find Movies4Men2+1 – Channel 307 at all.
Any chance it’ll be included sometime?
    Thanks,
    Chris

  33. Daniel Nettosays:

    Hi Marco!
When are you going to add the Sky Sports F1 Channel!!!???

    Thanks
    Daniel :)

  34. Stevesays:

On Google list it said you have 10 episodes of Chris Moyles Comedy Show. I can find it on your website but there seems no way to watch or download it

  35. LoAsays:

The best tv guide on the net,
    just one little point,
    could you add 4 seven’s listings(from Channel 4)
    Thanks.

  36. Alexsays:

    Hi Marco,

Have just found your site and I think it’s great, I really like the layout and the sliding time bar is very handy. I’ve been a tvguide.co.uk user for ages but recently their advertising has become too intrusive for me, the audio from an ad that you couldn’t turn off did it for me :) .

Could I add something to the suggestion box? Would it be possible to show when a program is a repeat or maybe include the episode number so we can see if it’s been aired before?

Thanks again for a great site.

  37. John Kiddsays:

    Marcus
my copy of Zingzing will not retain its Option set to remain on Midlands Central and Freesat.
How may I nail this down please?
    Bye- John

  38. michael whackersays:

i think this site is taking the mickey, yesterday, we saw last weeks programmes, and now today is the ninth of january, i think your programmer should go back to school.

  39. Zed5000says:

Just like to say THANK YOU

Such a simple website for web listing

    no hassle straight up listing

just one suggestions though. One that I REALLY need you to look into pleasseeeeee

    Make a Mobile App

especially because Blackberry litteraly has NO Tv listing apps

if thas not possible then at least make the site mobile friendly

on my blackberry torch 2 I cant see channel below itv4

    PLEASE GUYS

    Still love the site though

    Thanks

  40. Andrewsays:

Zingzing is my preferred TV listings site. Everything about it is just right, with two exceptions:

    1. Where dates are given, they are shown backwards (American-style, eg “March 17th” to denote the 17th day of March, aka “17 March”);

    2. Listings for 4seven have yet to be added.

There’s a bug on tomorrow’s listings – they are headed “Monday 19th” (it will of course be “Monday 18th”.

  41. Listings not showingsays:

For a couple of days now I cannot see any listings when the page opens. Everything else is there but them. When I go into options there are no channels displayed.

I have kept all my zingzing cookies so can only assume there is a problem with the server.

Anybody else having the same problem?

    • Charliesays:

Still no listings showing on XP Pro, IE8.

All cookies for zingzing have been retained.

      Please sort this out.

      • My guess is you might have to clear your zingzing cookies. Windows XP is over 12 years old now. Please upgrade. I cannot continue to fully support that OS.

        • Charliesays:

          Clearing cookies worked!

I know XP is an old OS but how would that affect the browser (IE8)?

If I have to clear my zingzing cookies regularly then I will lose my preferred settings. Are you suggesting that it is only after some sort of upgrade that I need to do this?

          Please expand. Thanks

          • Charliesays:

Having cleared my cookies and then set up my list choices again, when I save the new cookies I lose all listings. Only clearing the cookies again gives me the listings.

So, it seems I cannot retain my channel choices. Having to plough through all the channels each time is a pain.

It was good while it lasted though.

  42. Alistairsays:

I am in the same boat though it seems to be only Internet Explorer (I’ve got IE10 Win7). It works ok on slate with Win 8 IE10, Firefox, Iron, & Chrome. Is this the result of an update?
