Julie Fleeting

Determined to play, nine-year-old Julie Fleeting’s life in football began with a local boys club. It was the first step in achieving a dream she didn’t even know existed. From playing professionally in America to winning multiple honours with Arsenal, and scoring more goals for Scotland than anyone else, Julie has consistently inspired, empowered and led from the front. In a story of tenacity and triumph, Julie’s journey in football is also one of family, humility and respect. Thòisich Julie Fleeting a’ cluiche ball-coise còmhla ri sgioba bhalaich aig naoi bliadhna a dh’aois, a’ chiad cheum air an t-slighe gu dreuchd nach robh i fiù’s a smaointinn a bha comasach dhith. Bho bhith a’ cluiche gu proifeiseanta ann an Ameireagaidh gu togail dhuaisean aig Arsenal sa cur barrachd thadhail do dh’ Alba seach duine sam bith eile, tha Julie air a bhith na misneachd sna h-eisimpleir fad a beatha. Ach tha a slighe ann am ball-coise cuideachd mu dheidhinn theaghlach, irisleachd agus spèis. In Gaelic with English subtitles
