Poland: Europe's Next Riviera?
It's a landmark year for Poland's Baltic coast as the maritime city of Gdynia celebrates its 100th birthday. Gdynia sits on a stretch of coastline some call the Polish Riviera, and it's become increasingly popular as some holidaymakers search for less crowded and cooler alternatives to the hot and busy Mediterranean resorts. Reece Parkinson meets a new generation drawn to the maritime traditions of Gdynia, sees the remarkable revival of Gdańsk's shipyards and experiences the wild windswept beaches of the Hel Peninsula.
